Key Features
Resources
Resource records also hold information e.g default hourly rates, weekly minimum hours and default mileage expense categories, are assigned to managers for time & expense approvals.

Projects are broken down into project tasks, which resources book their time and expenses against.
Timesheets
The enforcement of weekly minimum hours can be implemented as part of the approval process, and approvers can choose to overwrite the number of hours that are billable to a client.
Expenses
Each expense line must have an expense category assigned to it, which holds information such as mileage rates, tax rates and nominal codes for processing. An approval process is in place to check all expenses are recorded correctly.
Project Billing
Invoices could be split by date, project task, or by resource – whatever suits the needs of the project. For simplification, aggregated invoice lines are created for time, mileage, and other expenses, but the invoice can be presented to the client in either aggregated or itemised form.
Integration
Fixed price agreements can follow the regular Quote>Order>Invoice process provided by these solutions, and the T&M agreements can use the Project Billing process, with all invoices still linked to the project.

Fixed price projects can follow the regular Quotes > Orders > Invoices process from the Quoting and Order Management solutions, while time & materials can be billed using the Project Billing solution.
This integration enhances the profit and loss data available for Project Managers.
