Easy & Quick way to create a Lease Quote CPQ in Microsoft Dynamics 365

Quote Manager CPQ for Microsoft Dynamics 365 has a lease calculator within the quote grid to calculate the monthly lease price based on input parameters i.e interest rate, deposit amount, residual value, and contract length.

The tool calculates the Monthly lease price and cost price, products can be stored in the database as one-off items.

How to use the Lease Calculator in Quote Manager CPQ in Microsoft Dynamics 365?

1. Open the Lease Calculator:

Simply select the relevant item to be leased, and then click the Lease Calculator button.

2. Edit the parameters

You may edit the parameters in the dialog box and see the effect on the figures in real-time.

Interest Rate

The bottom half of the form shows the Sales Price and Cost Price of the product as a whole (Capital, Cost). It also shows the calculated monthly payment value and monthly cost of the lease.

These calculated values will replace the Cost Price and Sales Discounted Price on the Quote Line.

The total contract value for the lease is shown in the field ‘Extended Sales Discounted Price (incl. terms)’.
